Job Description As a Software Engineer- Endpointsat iboss, you’ll have the opportunity to work on multiple technologies. Our development scope extends from device-specific driver, service, and communication protocols to cloud scalable connectivity and big data processing through third-party analytics tool integration and customer enterprise UI creation for security policy management. The work on this team involves developing software to run on several different types of user devices. Responsibilities
Ability to design and develop clean and maintainable code for deployment on Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS, and ChromeOS systems
Quickly understand and extend engineering architectural patterns
Independently solve tough software problems
Document engineering designs
Analyze and estimate development efforts
Qualifications
5+ years of experience developing high-quality code in C / C++, Swift / Objective C or Java required
Experience focused in C / C++ networking-based applications on Windows, Mac, IOS, Android or Linux Operating Systems
1+ years of experience working with endpoint development
Knowledge of security, networking, and handling of large datasets
TCP / IP and networking knowledge
Must have a good sense of engineering tradeoffs, within the contexts of extendibility, scalability, performance, and maintainability
Working knowledge of database technologies and SQL, especially PostgreSQLExperience with OO design and design patterns
Comfortable working in a Unix environment
Strong knowledge of the full software development life cycle, with experience in an agile environment
Previous experience using Wireshark is a plus
Experience with software securityis a plus
BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
