Overview
Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team supporting the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). This is a long-term contract role based onsite in Downtown Phoenix. The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure components that support the MAX operation—ADOT’s core system for title, registration, and driver services. The applications are built in .NET and run entirely on Azure.
This role is part of a 12-person infrastructure team, including four senior engineers focused on Azure. The team is expanding as other states begin onboarding the same platform. The position involves hands-on DevOps administration, release management, automation, and development support. Candidates must be comfortable working in a customer-facing environment and participating in after-hours deployments.
Responsibilities
Hands-on DevOps administration, release management, automation, and development support.
Participate in after-hours deployments in a customer-facing environment.
Support Terraform/CI-CD pipelines, build and code merges, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with a multi-state Azure platform onboarding effort.
Provide change management and DevOps migrations/upgrades support.
Project management experience as part of the duties.
