Tax Manager

RMW Accounting is looking for an experienced full-time tax manager to join our Shelby, Montana team. Remote work environment will be considered for the right candidate. JOB DESCRIPTION: Experience with individual, corporate, partnership, farming/ranching tax guides, and fiduciary tax clients, including reviewing and signing of tax returns. Providing clients with tax-related projections and consulting as needed, along with general tax planning. Working as a part of a team to solve problems, do research, and complete projects timely. RESPONSIBILITIES: Review U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for business entities, including C-Corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, farming/ranching tax guides, fiduciary and exempt organization returns. Prepare tax projections for individual and business clients. Conduct tax research as needed. Communicate with existing clients and colleagues regarding various tax matters. Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by clients. QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of relevant tax experience. CPA License preferred, but EA would be considered. Experience with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Ability to work well independently and with a team. Experience with Lacerte, Quicken, QuickBooks highly desired. SurePrep experience helpful. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple client projects in a fast-paced environment. Paid time off Schedule:
