Overview

Assistant Professor of Business; tenure-track position beginning Fall 2026 at Lake Forest College. The department seeks a candidate with deep expertise in business analytics who can apply a data-driven approach across the business curriculum. Responsibilities

Teach courses such as business analytics and business information systems and contribute to the department’s core curriculum, potentially including courses in management and/or marketing. Develop a research agenda leading to peer-reviewed publications and mentor students in research. Engage in interdisciplinary programs within and outside the department as appropriate. Maintain a 3-3 teaching load, typically with four annual preparations, and participate in a fully funded, one-semester junior research sabbatical after a successful third-year review. Qualifications

Deep expertise in business analytics and a data-driven approach across the business curriculum. PhD in Business Administration, Management, Business Analytics, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or related fields; ABD is acceptable if the degree is conferred prior to the start of the 2026-27 academic year. Ability to contribute to the college’s interdisciplinary programs within and outside the department. Appointment details
