Position : Junior Test Engineer – LabVIEW software development
Location : Redstone Arsenal area laboratories (on-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Overview We are seeking a dynamic Junior Test Engineer with expertise in LabVIEW software development to be part of cutting-edge projects. Your mission will be to develop LabVIEW hardware interfacing software that supports foreign material exploitation (FME), hardware testing, and reverse engineering to characterize and assess the operation and performance of military hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities
Create LabVIEW hardware interfacing software to support testing and diagnostics.
Analyze hardware circuitry, functional diagrams, and schematics to develop tools and methods for system diagnostics.
Utilize LabVIEW for data acquisition to gather information from sensors and instruments.
Utilize LabVIEW for instrument control to interface with and control testing and measurement equipment.
Leverage LabVIEW for signal processing and data analysis to extract insights from collected data.
Minimum Requirements
US Citizenship.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university.
2–5 years of applicable experience in hardware testing, design, or integration.
Experience in Army or Department of Defense-related fields is a plus.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Note: Travel up to 10% may be required.
Preferred Experience
Subject matter expert in LabVIEW software development.
Familiarity with characterizations of foreign threat systems.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for LabVIEW software and hardware interfacing.
Hardware reverse engineering, testing, or integration with foreign threat systems.
Experience with analysis of surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems.
