Overview

We are seeking an innovative and adaptable Business Analyst – AI & Data Inititiatives to join our IT Corporate Analytics & Automation Team. This role focuses on enabling enterprise-scale AI initiatives by gathering and translating business requirements into actionable solutions. The analyst will collaborate across teams to support large corporate programs that leverage AI technologies such as Microsoft Azure AI and Databricks ML. In addition, this role will support self-service AI tools and enterprise LLMs (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) across the businesses. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs with technical capabilities to drive data-driven, automated outcomes. Key Responsibilities

AI Enablement & Development

Support delivery and governance of AI copilots, assistants, and agent workflows by coordinating testing, documentation, and handoffs across functions. Apply working knowledge of agentic workflows with architects and developers to capture requirements, edge cases, and measurable success criteria. Collaborate with business users to help them

formulate effective prompts ,

optimize Copilot and LLM usage , and

understand AI best practices

for accurate, secure, and responsible outcomes. Evaluate AI tools, models, and frameworks against business requirements and constraints, delivering evidence-based option analyses (fit, cost, risk, compliance, feasibility) for architect and governance review. Operationalize governance by preparing risk assessments, assembling policy‑alignment evidence, and producing compliance artifacts for security, legal, and architecture review. Maintain current knowledge of AI resources, prompt engineering, and deployment practices to inform checklists, documentation, and review readiness. Business Intelligence & Data Collaboration

Collaborate with BI teams to connect AI insights with

Power BI ,

Databricks , and

Fabric

for unified data visualization and automation. Translate business questions into actionable

AI or BI analyses

that drive decision‑making and operational improvements. Work closely with BI leads to ensure data pipelines and semantic models support AI‑driven workflows and copilots. Partner with business units to document

Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)

and translate requirements into actionable deliverables for AI architects and developers. Project Leadership & Communication

Facilitate

AI team meetings , daily

DevOps standups , and manage

agile boards

to track AI initiatives and dependencies. Manage multiple concurrent AI and BI projects while adapting to different work styles and personalities. Serve as the liaison between business leaders, developers, and contractors to ensure alignment from concept to delivery. Present progress and results to

executives and C‑suite leadership , using clear visual and verbal storytelling. Curate AI and BI opportunities and value hypotheses from prior experience to inform the organization’s roadmap for architect and product owner review. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields. 1–3 years of experience in AI, data analytics, or BI roles , preferably with exposure to

LLMs and enterprise automation tools . Preferred AI experience includes:

Supporting or deploying enterprise copilots such as

Microsoft 365 Copilot

or

Azure OpenAI . Assisting in agentic workflows and prompt‑driven automation using approved tools (e.g., Power Automate, Databricks). Partnering with business users to improve

prompting techniques , enhance

AI adoption , and ensure responsible use of

LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) . Contributing to

AI proof‑of‑concepts, enablement programs, or integration evaluations that improve workflows.

Experience supporting Copilot, ChatGPT, Fabric, or enterprise AI environments in governed releases. Familiarity with prompt engineering and evaluation. Model tuning exposure is a plus. Proficiency in

Power BI ,

Databricks , or related BI platforms. Working knowledge of AI lifecycle, delivery processes, and DevOps collaboration. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in engaging

executives and senior stakeholders . Proven ability to

manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

and collaborate effectively across teams with diverse personalities. Preferred Skills

Experience supporting integrations using Azure OpenAI and/or Copilot Studio in pilots and governed releases. Familiarity with

AI governance frameworks ,

compliance standards , and

PII risk mitigation . Experience integrating AI insights into

Power BI dashboards ,

semantic models , citizen development, or

data marts

in partnership with BI engineering. Demonstrated ability to lead workshops or training sessions for

AI prompt optimization

and

user enablement . Identify and qualify AI and BI opportunities with measurable value hypotheses and success metrics for architect and product owner review. Bonus: Future AI Enablement Focus (Preferred but Not Required)

Exposure to multi‑agent orchestration tools for evaluations and prototypes in governed environments. Working understanding of RAG concepts and vector stores to support requirements, evaluation, and documentation. Familiarity with

AI observability ,

model evaluation , and

bias detection frameworks . Define criteria and analyze results with engineering. Experience or interest in synthetic data approaches and privacy preserving datasets, focusing on requirements and risk assessment with data/privacy teams. Knowledge of integrating

AI copilots within BI ecosystems

(Power BI, Fabric, Databricks) in partnership with BI engineering to enhance insights. Experience facilitating

prompt optimization programs

or measuring

AI maturity and adoption

across business units. Ability to define and track

AI performance metrics and ROI , communicating measurable business impact to executives. Working Conditions

Occasional travel may be required for team collaboration and executive presentations. Flexible work hours may be necessary to support project deadlines or cross‑functional standups. Company Overview
