The Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) Technology division enables Capital One’s foundational cloud infrastructure, including observability, connectivity, resilience and availability. We are seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management (TPM) to lead large-scale, cross-functional programs across multiple lines of business and divisions, partnering with business and product teams to deliver against technology intent for the integration of diverse technology ecosystems. You will also help expand the TPM discipline within the team by sharing industry knowledge and establishing what great TPMs can achieve. Responsibilities

Lead large scale, cross-functional programs spanning multiple lines of business and divisions Partner with business and product teams to deliver against technology intent for integration of diverse technology ecosystems Pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team by leveraging industry knowledge to teach and elevate TPM practices Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience managing technical programs Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing; 3+ years building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing (preferably AWS); 3+ years of Agile delivery; 3+ years delivering large and complex programs with cross-functional collaboration; 3+ years building systems within a highly regulated environment; Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering) Other considerations

Strong technical background with experience in building scalable platforms or services and ability to mitigate technical risks throughout delivery Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Excellent problem solving, influencing skills, and a systems-thinking approach Ability to simplify complex topics and drive informed decisions across product, engineering, design and data science Commitment to execution, accountability and delivering results Strong cross-team collaboration across functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries High emotional intelligence and empathy for teams and partners At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
