Overview
As a Sr Test to Sr Staff Test Engineer, you will apply a broad level of expertise in test discipline, contributing to the development of company objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. The role may involve working on significant and unique issues requiring conceptual thinking and independent judgment. You may lead efforts as a technical lead and coordinate with multiple groups, while remaining accountable for results of yourself and your team. In all levels of experience, you will work with your team/leadership to set schedules, identify enablement or readiness gaps, and close them. Senior staff provide technical support to peers, while junior members execute objectives toward milestones. Responsibilities
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science. 5 to 12+ years of experience with Automated Test Systems (ATE). 5 to 12+ years of hands-on experience in ATE test development for analog, digital and mixed-signal. Experience in programming (C++, BASIC, Perl, Python, etc.). Experience testing and collecting data on IC chips or circuits using standard tools (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.). Proficient with ATE analog/digital instruments, PCB layout parasitic reduction, and strong debugging/troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience debugging analog products with serial bus interfaces. Experience with test hardware and test program development. More senior level: mentoring/leadership experience and willingness to lead small technical teams as required. Travel 0-10%.
