Experienced Tax Professional at H&R Block Responsibilities
Join as a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional and serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team. Build client relationships that grow stronger each year. Provide advanced tax training and be successful in applying tax knowledge. Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email). Prepare complete and accurate tax returns. Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services. Provide clients with IRS support and tax notice services (depending on certification). Mentor and support teammates and contribute to a high-performing, connected culture. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred) Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership) 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax Experience conducting virtual tax interviews Experience with tax planning and audit support Sales and/or marketing experience Experience completing individual returns and working in a fast-paced environment Comfort working with virtual tools (video, phone, chat) Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing Must meet IRS and applicable state requirements High school diploma or equivalent or higher Benefits and Culture
