Overview

The Personal Lines Account Manager II role supports clients, prospective clients and guests of Greylock Insurance Agency by providing high levels of service and responsiveness in accordance with regulatory compliance guidelines and Credit Union policies and procedures. Responsibilities include information gathering, quoting for underwriting, discussing options with customers, assisting with claims processes, and managing an assigned portfolio. The position emphasizes customer service, cross-selling/up-selling opportunities, and adherence to licensing and training requirements. Responsibilities Performs functions within scope of authority and expertise to deliver high-quality service and responsiveness to clients, prospective clients, and guests while following prescribed regulatory guidelines and Credit Union policies and procedures.

Gathers information and uses software to prepare insurance quotes; applies underwriting guidelines, SinglePoint, and other company tools to qualify quotes.

Discusses options/quotes with existing and potential customers and makes recommendations for policy changes. Responds to frequently asked questions.

Advises and assists customers in the claims process using company websites and industry software; communicates with adjusters as needed; handles claim paperwork on the customer’s behalf and ensures timely processing.

Takes ownership of assigned portfolio and provides excellent customer service in line with Greylock’s motto to treat customers/members better than they expect.

Performs annual policy reviews and explores remarketing with other carriers to retain business.

Handles new business from prospects, leads, web requests, and calls; achieves up-selling and cross-selling standards by reviewing existing policies and identifying opportunities for additional coverage.

Cross-sells Greylock products (referrals) to non-Credit Union members and maintains a basic understanding of available products and services.

Explains insurance concepts and contract terms for personal lines products in language understandable to customers.

Related Responsibilities Actively represents the Credit Union in local civic, community and professional organizations; promotes the Credit Union wherever possible.

Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory guidelines and Credit Union policies and procedures.

Completes company-specific trainings and maintains CE requirements to meet P&C licensing standards.

Provides office coverage for different locations as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements High School diploma or equivalent.

Two+ years of insurance experience preferred.

Successful completion of P&C licensing within the first 3 months from date of hire.

Excellent verbal communication, telephone etiquette, customer service, and organizational skills.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Professional appearance and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Training: Must successfully complete all company website training and all coverage training.
