Senior Property Accountant , you’ll play a critical role in ensuring financial excellence across our residential portfolio. This isn’t just an accounting role - it’s a chance to be part of something intentional, collaborative, and built to last. What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll help ensure the financial foundation of our communities is as solid as the physical ones. You’ll collaborate across departments and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting. Monitor cash balances and prepare wire transfers Prepare monthly operating financials for Residential properties (Operating Statements, Balance Sheets, Statements of Cash Flows) Calculate monthly or quarterly distributions Balance Sheet/ Trial Balance reconciliations with month end close Bank Reconciliations Security Deposit Refund tracking Edit and approve AP for each entity weekly Record monthly depreciation and amortization schedules Prepare monthly reporting packages for 3rd party owners Prepare development draws Prepare and enter journal entries Prepare development month end packages Calculate sales & use tax OPS AP invoice audit daily as needed What You Bring
Bachelor of Science in Accounting required 3–5 years of accounting experience (real estate or property management preferred) A strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting processes High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Confidence working independently, while thriving in a collaborative environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; familiarity with systems like OneSite/RealPage or Sage is a plus Our Culture. Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 annually, based on experience Bonus: Performance-based eligibility Schedule: This is an in-office role for the first 90–120 days. Based on performance and business needs, the position may shift to a hybrid schedule thereafter. Join Us
