Universal Banker II (Float) role at Peapack Private Bank & Trust. This position provides exceptional client service, manages the full client experience, identifies cross-sell opportunities, and supports branch operations in the absence of the Retail Private Banker and Retail Client Experience Manager. Responsibilities
Provide exceptional service to existing and potential clients; manage the full client experience, identify cross-sell opportunities, and refer to partnering business lines. Assume management responsibilities within approved limits in the absence of the Retail Private Banker and Retail Client Experience Manager. Demonstrate strong communication skills, enthusiasm, technological savviness, and a client-first mindset aligned with “Clients First” and “One Team.” Learn and effectively use branch technology; educate clients on available technology and ease of use. Develop, expand and manage consumer and business account relationships; identify clients with additional profit potential and create action plans to grow these relationships. Participate in ongoing training and regular sales meetings. Understand partner roles and all PGB products and services to uncover expressed and unexpressed client needs. Open products offered (checking, money market, CDs, IRAs, Netteller, Debit Cards) and complete credit card and loan applications. Process a variety of transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, IRAs, CDs) and maintain accounts. Provide supervisory overrides and review transactions in the absence of management. Assist with daily branch operations, including reporting, audits, cash vault, cash shipments, and ordering currency/coin as needed. Ensure all work is processed and settled by day end; maintain confidentiality and provide courteous client service. Stay current with pertinent banking regulations (e.g., Reg. DD, Reg. CC, BSA, CRA, Right to Financial Privacy Act, FDIC insurance provisions). Qualifications
High School diploma or GED Customer experience in Retail or Hospitality preferred; Banking experience a plus Ability to go the extra mile to fulfill a client’s needs Values being in-service to others; enjoys working with others to create a productive environment Willing to grow and work in an environment with open feedback Proactively takes initiative to improve the customer experience and team efficiency Builds strong internal and external relationships; ability to interact with all levels Intellectual curiosity to learn the Bank’s products, procedures and services Operates with integrity; adaptable, mission-driven and performance-oriented Professional appearance and behavior Ability to read, write and speak English clearly; additional languages a plus Maintain customer files; Notary Public commission Benefits

The approximate pay range for this position is $41,556 to $55,000 USD plus performance-based incentives.
