Position Details
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
Work in the clinic, hospital rounding, and OR services.
No call.
Responsibilities

Qualifications Requirements For Physician Assistants
Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
PA-C issued by the NCCPA is required for hire and must be maintained
Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications commonly prescribed in practice
Eligible to provide reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid
Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges
Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical staff privileging
BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Requirements For Nurse Practitioners
Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility; must apply for prescriptive authority as a condition of employment
Master's degree in Nursing and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
ANCC or AANPCB NP certification required for hire and maintained
Unrestricted NP license or compact privileges
Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges
Full prescriptive authority
Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications
Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement
No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
BLS certification
