Senior Financial Analyst
to join their team. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing industry experience, strong product costing expertise, and a proactive, business-partner mindset. The
Senior Financial Analyst
role is a
hybrid position , ideally
4 days onsite
(with flexibility for 3 as needed). This is a
client direct hire position . Develop and maintain detailed product costing and evaluation models to support strategic decision-making. Analyze and interpret manufacturing performance metrics to identify trends, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive operational efficiency. Support product pricing analysis, ensuring accuracy and alignment with cost structures and market trends. Conduct research and develop reports to support product and profitability reviews. Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis related to manufacturing operations. Collaborate with plant and operations leadership to enhance understanding of financial results and cost implications. Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial reporting and analysis capabilities. Serve as a consultant and business partner to non-finance leaders, translating complex financial data into actionable insights. Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications
7–10+ years of progressive experience as a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Experience within the
manufacturing industry , with a solid understanding of
manufacturing processes . Strong knowledge of
product costing
and manufacturing cost structures. Advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Excel ; proven ability to develop complex models. Experience with
Plex ERP
preferred but not required. Self-directed, with strong business acumen and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative and relationship-focused approach. Proactive, naturally curious, and able to think critically as a financial thought leader.
