Pearce delivers engineering, maintenance, repair, and repowering solutions for wireless and wireline telecom, solar and wind projects, EV charging stations, and large-scale power generation, critical power and energy storage assets. We are a nationwide team with over 2,500 members. Position: Experienced Generator Technician. This role services and repairs commercial generators on cell phone towers in your region. The role is suited for independent, self-starters who are willing to travel. Responsibilities
Maintain generators, diagnose and repair problems, install or replace components or entire systems, and perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance to ensure readiness; read and follow blueprints or design specifications to install or repair Install water and fuel supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and test for proper operation Respond promptly to power/generator alarms; be on call 24/7 if necessary and respond to assigned phone and email Work with awareness of hazards related to power supply equipment, switching gear, and related systems; use safety equipment and participate in safety meetings Core Experience
3 or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred; minimum 1 year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance software, hardware, and processes Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair; knowledge of electronic, mechanical and electrical components; basic computer skills Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations Physical/Work Environment

Ability to lift over 50 pounds; kneeling, bending, squatting, climbing, and standing for long periods Ability to inspect and troubleshoot equipment/alarms visually and audibly Willingness to drive long distances and work day, evening, or night hours; overtime, emergency callouts, weekends and holidays as required Willingness to be on 24-hour on-call duty when assigned Must be able to pass a DOT physical Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $20–$40 USD. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, stipends, a company vehicle, per diem, and other compensation.
