Salary:
$100K–$125K DOE (targeting around $110K–$125K for strong candidates) Relocation assistance:

on-site daily Role Overview You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of financial reporting while driving continuous process improvement across accounting operations. Responsibilities include: Reviewing monthly journal entries and financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) Preparing/reviewing general ledger reconciliations and resolving variances Assisting with quarterly and annual statutory statements (Blue Books) per SAP Supporting GAAP and STAT audits and state regulatory filings Coordinating submissions for statutory reports and regulatory deadlines Supporting implementation of new regulatory requirements and business lines Collaborating with auditors, examiners, and senior management Contributing ideas to enhance internal controls and accounting efficiency Strong U.S. statutory and reinsurance accounting knowledge Experience with life insurance company reporting (statutory basis required) GAAP reporting exposure preferred Proficiency in Excel and MS Office 5+ years of recent experience in insurance financial accounting & reporting Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Experience supervising, training, or mentoring accounting team members Ready to grow your career with a trusted, mission-driven organization?
