Senior Director, Enterprise Strategy — Inside Higher Ed Stanford Medicine-related enterprise strategy leadership position focused on developing enterprise-wide initiatives for clinical enterprise/service lines and translating strategic priorities into comprehensive plans. Responsibilities

Drive key strategic initiatives from inception; scope and implement special projects and programs that support long-term vision and short-term objectives. Lead cross-functional programs with internal staff and external stakeholders. Collaborate with institutional and hospital leadership, faculty, special committees, and consultants to plan and execute key initiatives and strategies. Ensure strategic planning projects and priorities are aligned across Stanford Medicine at all levels; reflect organizational priorities. Work with the Dean, hospital CEOs, and Stanford Medicine leadership to establish and review strategic priorities and translate them into comprehensive plans, roadmaps, and 1-, 2-, and 5-year schedules with metrics; collaborate to ensure execution. Provide analytical and strategic thinking to isolate business issues, conduct analytics (market research, scenario planning, forecasting), develop competitive intelligence, market trend analysis, and create decision-ready documents. Lead data research, analysis, and presentation to support strategic and operations decisions; respond to surveys and data requests; project future trends and align resources to goals; build strategic analytic capabilities across the school. Stay current with healthcare trends and regulations relevant to health care and academic medical centers; monitor external and internal factors and adjust plans as needed. Develop content for engagements with internal and external boards and committees (e.g., SHC Board of Directors, Stanford Medicine Board of Fellows, Stanford University Board of Trustees). Foster strong working relationships with chairs and institute directors; act as a strategic partner. Monitor execution of the strategic plan and evaluate progress using performance benchmarks. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Demonstrated success in strategic leadership, planning, and change management in complex environments; healthcare trends knowledge; experience in healthcare strategy consulting or internal strategy function preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders; diplomatic, collaborative, and results-oriented. Ability to connect issues and translate complex topics for varied audiences. Judgment and decision-making under pressure; resilient; team-oriented and fair. Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate collaboration with faculty; excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy; knowledge of industry standards, trends, and regulatory requirements. Subject matter expertise for areas of responsibility; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; high energy and positive attitude. Education & Experience (required)

Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience in administrative and financial management, or combination of education and relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (required)

Advanced financial expertise in accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced expertise in grants and contract administration. Proficiency with business and management software and databases; subject matter expertise for areas of responsibility. Physical Requirements
