Senior Architectural Project Manager

Stratus® Stratus is searching for a seasoned Sr. Project Manager responsible for the development of production drawings and specifications from programming and schematic design, through construction document and permitting phases. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a series of projects at various stages of work. Primary Essential Functions
Lead the planning, development, and execution of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, timeline, and budget. Communicate design ideas using sketches and computer design tools such as 3D modeling, AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) with the development team and owners. Produce documents through to the construction phase. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring regular communication. Develop designs in coordination with client requirements, specifications, and goals. Identify project risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to avoid disruptions in project timelines. Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations to clients and senior management, addressing milestones, challenges, and next steps. Ensure adherence to building codes, safety standards, and zoning laws throughout the project lifecycle, managing necessary permits and approvals. Manage project team members, including mentoring junior staff and providing guidance on technical and project management aspects. Oversee the quality control process for design and construction documentation, ensuring deliverables meet internal and client standards. Coordinate and participate in site visits and inspections to review construction progress and ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications. Oversee financial aspects of projects, including tracking expenses, approving invoices, and ensuring project profitability. Collaborate with business development teams to support proposal development for future projects and participate in client presentations as needed. Secondary Essential Functions

Knowledge
AutoCAD and Revit knowledge and experience required In-depth knowledge of project management principles and practices in the architecture field. Understanding of architectural design processes, building systems, and construction methods. Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and safety standards. Awareness of risk management strategies and methodologies. Skills
Strong leadership and organizational skills for managing large teams and multidisciplinary coordination. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and team members. Advanced problem-solving skills to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports. Abilities
Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ability to manage client relationships and foster trust through clear communication and problem resolution. Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, ensuring project continuity. Ability to mentor and guide junior staff in both technical and project management aspects. Ability to adapt to changing project conditions and deliver innovative solutions to challenges. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit Physical Requirements
Ability to remain seated for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings. Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, telephones, and printers. Occasional light physical activity such as walking, standing, or carrying materials (up to 25 lbs.).
