What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.

Responsibilities

Assembles and sends monthly chargeback reporting to vendors in order to reconcile any discrepancies and secure contractual rebates from manufacturers.

Works directly with vendors to ensure Cardinal system is reflecting most up to date and current contracts

Assists in researching rebatable components to ensure contract eligibility is correct and loaded in our Cardinal system, thereby ensuring the chargeback calculate correctly

Learns the Cardinal systems in order to track and validate the calculations of rebated components (chargebacks)

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience preferred

BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred

Financial background or training to a moderate degree

Working knowledge of Excel & SAP

What is expected of you and others at this level

Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks

Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity

Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve

Applies judgment within defined parameters

Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects

Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy

Anticipated salary range:

$57,000 - $75,000
