What You Will Do
Join our dynamic sales team and become part of our growth. As a
Business Consultant , cultivate existing business, oversee sales expansion, uphold exceptional customer service, and educate prospective clients on the value of becoming a business partner with Dermalogica. This role oversees the territory encompassing the states of Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arkansas.
Develop Dermalogica sales through execution of a sales call plan, meeting reach and frequency goals, conducting events within accounts, and assuring attendance of Skin Therapists at Dermalogica education classes.
Grow the number of qualified Dermalogica accounts within the territory by demonstrating value of the Dermalogica line and education support aligned with their business goals.
Service existing accounts within the territory with a trusting and meaningful relationship; visit existing accounts to develop sales and relationships at least once per month.
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for new account openings, by achieving targets for cold-call activities and field visits with identified leads.
Engage in prospecting activities, profiling, and account openings through cold-calling and event management; build relationships through regular visits to lead prospective accounts to convert to Dermalogica.
Provide rapid follow-up with new leads within 36-72 hours to capitalize on interest in Dermalogica.
Meet all KPI goals quarterly and annually.
Manage business and administrative responsibilities including timely submission of territory business plans, logging of sales calls and calendar activities, and expense reports as defined by the District Manager.
Attend regional trade shows, pulls, events, or other Dermalogica programs as specified by the District Manager.
Travel regionally by car to visit accounts; regular attendance at sales meetings which may require overnights; participation in regional or national trade shows may be required and may overlap with weekends.
Maintain and assure a safe work environment, including safe driving practices.
What You Will Bring
Key Qualifications:
High school degree required; BA/BS degree preferred
Minimum of two years of field sales experience, ideally in beauty industry or with prestige consumer goods
Experience servicing salons, spas, physician offices, and the “sole proprietor” customer base is desirable; national accounts servicing background also ideal
Client building experience required
Licensed skin care therapist a plus
Results-oriented with a proven track record
Key Skills and Abilities:
Master Dermalogica product knowledge and skincare technique; ability to feature effectively in Dermalogica accounts
Ability to travel by vehicle daily to visit accounts
Reliability, dedication, and teamwork mindset with a customer-focused approach

Persuasive and sincere communicator with management and customers
Excellent written communication skills
