Job Summary A $750.00 sign on bonus is being offered to eligible new employees hired in our PCA positions.

Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.

Essential Functions

Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame and/or as requested.

Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.

Interacts with patients and their families effectively.

Helps patients with basic hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, using the toilet, and feeding.

Assists with patient repositioning in bed or helping them move between bed and wheelchair.

Listens to patients' health concerns and reports them to nurses.

Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).

Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS Certification), Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification), Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (Massachusetts), Nursing Assistant (LNA – New Hampshire).

Experience: 1–2 years in patient care/elder care (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Strong patient/customer service skills.

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Proficient computer skills for electronic medical records.
