This is a great opportunity to work closely with board-certified physicians with a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and providing innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases. Responsibilities
Full time - 40 hours per week Assist with hospital rounding including ICU rounding and clinical management of cardiology patients Electronic Medical Records Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital admissions ICU rounding Nuclear, stress tests, echocardiogram and remote monitoring device interrogation Support electrophysiology; work closely with both interventional and non-interventional cardiologists Competitive salary, plus comprehensive benefits package including CME, malpractice coverage and 401K Qualifications
Active Texas license Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification and experience Degree in NP studies from an approved nurse practitioner program 1-3 years of cardiology experience required The NP must be a graduate of an accredited advanced nursing program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas Employment details
Job function: Other Industries: Hospitals and Health Care Employment type: Full-time The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. The NP’s duties apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
