The HR Administrator will provide vital support across all areas of Human Resources, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance. This role serves as a key link between management and employees, ensuring smooth communication and efficient administrative processes. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment as the company transitions from manual to digital HR systems. Responsibilities
Assist with full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, from candidate screening through orientation and new hire setup. Support HR Manager during employee orientations and help lead small onboarding groups (3–5 employees). Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day employee inquiries regarding timecards, pay issues, attendance, and benefits. Provide translation support for employee communications, investigations, and meetings (Spanish/English). Maintain and organize personnel files – scanning, filing, and helping transition records from paper to digital systems. Monitor and update attendance and timekeeping trackers, ensuring accurate reporting of employee hours. Assist with FMLA documentation and leave tracking, maintaining confidentiality and communicating relevant updates to management. Prepare and maintain HR spreadsheets and reports; support data entry into HR systems and future CRM platform. Collaborate with staffing agencies on temporary and direct-hire placements; process background checks and I-9 verifications. Support benefits administration, including open enrollment and basic employee inquiries. Help ensure compliance with labor laws by maintaining up-to-date workplace postings. Coordinate employee engagement activities and maintain HR bulletin boards featuring birthdays, anniversaries, and recognition. Participate in monthly safety and operations meetings as the HR representative. Provide assistance for special HR projects such as training events, appreciation programs, and employee recognition initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; recent graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply. 1–2 years of experience in an HR administrative or generalist role. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred. Strong proficiency in Excel; comfortable working with spreadsheets and HR data. Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly. Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and communication skills. Ability to adapt to process changes and assist in the transition to digital systems. Familiarity with HR processes such as onboarding, FMLA, and compliance tracking. Details
