Overview Physical Therapist (PT) - Mobile Outpatient. Full time offering $5,000 Bonus! Coverage Areas: Primarily Nashua with some Hudson, Milford, and Amherst clients. Assisted Living Facilities/Independent Living Facilities and Community Clients. At Powerback, we\'re on a mission to improve lives. Base pay range: $50.00/hr - $61.00/hr. With over 38 years of trusted service, Powerback delivers rehabilitation and wellness services across various settings. This role offers a flexible schedule and a patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

Supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as appropriate and in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.

Adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements, and participation in work-related meetings.

Attend and contribute to patient care, staffing conferences and other related meetings.

Makes referrals to other disciplines and agencies to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.

Consult with rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen for each patient.

Adapt program and/or plan of care according to the needs of the individual patient.

Promote a safe environment and enforce elimination of hazards.

Order supplies and equipment as necessary; maintain and report equipment needs.

Provide patient-focused service to ensure high-quality care in a compassionate atmosphere.

Screen, examine, and evaluate patients; develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans; document and record all services.

Therapeutic exercises, functional training, manual therapy, airway clearance techniques, integumentary care, electrotherapy and other modalities as appropriate.

Health and Wellness education and Chronic Disease Management guidance.

Fall risk assessment and interventions; home and community case management as needed.

Design, fit, and train patients in adaptive devices including orthotics and prosthetics.

Instruct patients in mobility skills; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.

Perform routine reexaminations to modify progression of treatment.

Incorporate health and wellness programming into treatment plans; conduct home and community mobility assessments with safety recommendations.

Other related duties as required.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field with a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy with 5 years of progressive PT experience.

U.S. degree equivalency evaluation for Physical Therapy degree earned outside of the U.S.

Must have a valid driver\'s license or reliable transportation to and from patients\' residences.

Posted Salary Range: USD $50.00 - USD $61.00 /Hr. Bonus: USD $5,000.
