Overview
This is a full-time Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) position at Texas Oncology for the Tyler location. The role is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with no weekends, call, or major holidays. The level (1, 2, or Sr) will be determined based on candidate experience. Texas Oncology

Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote the continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices. Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history; assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional materials; provide psychosocial support to patients and families. Facilitate clinical operations and patient care. Manage patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy line and document in the patient chart. Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre-testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments for patients. Triages patient phone calls as needed and documents information in the patient chart. Coordinate communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team; coordinate services related to patient care. Assist patients in locating available community resources. Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants. Qualifications
Level 1 : Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred); RN license in practicing state; current BLS; 0–3 years nursing experience, preferably oncology. Level 2 : 3–5 years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology (in addition to Level 1 requirements). Level Sr : Five years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology (in addition to Levels 1 & 2). Working Conditions

Physical Requirements
