Overview
Evergreen Residential is a high growth Real Estate Company and institutional investment platform in the single-family residential (SFR) and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. We seek a Senior Analyst/Associate to support the Disposition team within the acquisitions, investment management and asset management department, focusing on the disposition of assets. The role involves underwriting, negotiating and closing, as well as pipeline tracking and broker management. Reporting to the Senior Director, you will collaborate with senior management and have the opportunity to work on new business initiatives. We prefer candidates who can work from our Dallas office but are open to discussing other locations. The Role:
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Support deal disposition and acquisition efforts, including valuation and underwriting, transaction and pipeline management.
Manage and track the dispositions pipeline, ensuring timely execution and status updates for each asset.
Accurately and efficiently underwrite individual single-family homes using appropriate local comparables.
Assist in streamlining the dispositions process.
Assist in technical portfolio-level analysis to inform best economic outcomes for portfolio repositioning, exits and recapitalizations.
Support contract and deal negotiation, due diligence, and working cross-functionally with internal partners as well as third-party providers.
Qualifications and Experience
1-3 years (3+ for Associate) of SFR or BTR acquisitions or dispositions experience; asset management, investment management, or private equity experience is a plus.
Familiarity with valuation methodologies, comparable sales analysis, and real estate transaction processes.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to perform financial modeling, cash flow and cap rate analysis.
Undergraduate degree required, ideally in Finance, Business or Real Estate.
Motivated self-starter and collaborative team player with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
