Overview

Store Manager role at Cumberland Farms. This position supports the Store Manager and other team members in delivering an exceptional guest shopping experience. What You’ll Do

Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile; deliver exceptional customer service. Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching team members. Set clear and measurable goals, hold self and others accountable, and communicate effectively. Monitor product levels on the sales floor, rotate stock, and keep product levels full to ensure 100% in-stock availability. Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in locations that offer hot food. Maintain store cleanliness and appearance interior and exterior; ensure coffee station and food service areas are clean and stocked; bathrooms are clean. Delegate and complete tasks as necessary. Operate the cash register efficiently. In locations with hot food, assist the Store Manager by overseeing quality control, merchandising, safety programs, and other guidelines for successful food service operation. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager. Training Process

Managers In Training learn how to manage day-to-day responsibilities of running an EG America convenience store location from experienced leaders. Training involves working with a Training Manager and Supervising Manager, and spending time on various shifts to learn about the company, the retail team, vendors, and guests. After training, Managers In Training join the bench leadership team and may fill in during absences until assigned to their own store. Looking for growth opportunities? Minimum Education: High School or GED Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant in a leadership role Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe / Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory Soft Skills

Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members High energy Ability to move between activities quickly Team oriented; willing to give extra effort to help others Computer skills are helpful Scheduling, Hours & Travel

This position is full-time and involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as EG America locations can be open 24 hours depending on the store. Weekend and holiday hours are required. Physical Requirements

Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours, reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, grasp, and work in cooler environments. The noise level is usually moderate. Other
