Lead the architectural design and technical strategy for major components of our generative AI platform, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with the product vision Partner with senior engineering managers, product leaders, and data scientists to translate strategic objectives into executable architectural blueprints, guiding multiple development teams through implementation Drive the adoption of superior engineering standards and advanced AI evaluation frameworks like LangSmith, taking ownership of the quality and verifiability of system outputs Spearhead technical solutioning for the platform's most complex challenges, making critical decisions on the use of AKS with KEDA, LangGraph, and our core context engineering engine Mentor and cultivate a team of associate architects and senior engineers, establishing a culture of technical excellence and acting as a key decision-maker for significant architectural challenges Own and execute a significant portion of the technology roadmap, actively researching and integrating cutting-edge AI agent patterns to keep the platform at the forefront of innovation Qualifications
Minimum twelve years of recent experience in software engineering and architecture, with a proven track record of leading the design of complex, data-intensive AI systems in an enterprise environment Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred Deep, hands-on expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph, Semantic Kernel), and building sophisticated RAG pipelines with tools like Azure AI Search Mastery of Agile methodologies and extensive experience creating and managing robust CI/CD pipelines for microservices using Azure DevOps and Git Demonstrated ability to resolve ambiguous and complex technical problems at scale, providing clear, decisive guidance and direction to high-performing engineering teams Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex architectural concepts, trade-offs, and decisions to technical teams and executive stakeholders Equal Employment Opportunity
