Job Description

This position is for an experienced hardware test engineer who will be responsible for defining Environmental Test Engineering (ETE) test plans and managing ETE projects in the lab. This position will also be responsible for assisting with performing ETE, Transportation/Package, and Acoustic testing. Qualifications Disclaimer

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. IC4 Responsibilities

Maintain Oracle’s Environmental Test Specifications Define ETE test plans for all OHD and third‑party products Provide HW Development Engineering with test reports and pass/fail decisions on ETE testing performed at Oracle Set up and configure servers or racks for testing according to a test plan. Set up and operate test equipment for Environmental Test Engineering (ETE), Transportation/Package, and Acoustic testing including vibration tables, drop testers, environmental chambers, and acoustic measurement equipment. Analyze test data and communicate test results clearly to stakeholders. Develop and implement standard operating procedures. What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. 6 - 10 years of hands‑on experience in a high‑tech engineering or lab environment. Familiar with Environmental, Transportation, and Acoustic industry standards such as IEC 60068 series, ISO 7779, ASTM, and ISTA. Experience with creating test plans for ETE testing Experience with programming and operation of vibration tables, drop testers, environmental chambers, acoustic measurement equipment, wind tunnels, thermocouples, and power analyzers. Experience with rack servers and networking products. Experience with server rework and changes for CPUs, DIMMs, drives, and fans. Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
