We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fixed Income Swap Sales Associate to join our Global Markets team. This role is in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of existing clients or prospects, focusing on client satisfaction, relationship building and business growth
Responsible for achieving sales targets assigned by the team
Advise clients on BNY’s Fixed Income product offerings
Perform in-depth industry research and maintain an understanding of the market environment, including short- and long-term trends, competitor offerings, regulatory developments
Generate leads from within existing client accounts or as a result of industry research, prospecting
Contribute to overall team strategy and drive business development initiatives
Ensure deals are compliant with all regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years’ experience in Fixed Income Sales
Well versed in Fixed Income markets and US Economy
Strong problem solving, communication and influencing skills
Experience in conducting primary research, competitive benchmarking, and market intelligence
Proactive self-starter with a questioning mindset
Ability to remain agile in a fast-paced, global environment often under tight time constraints
