The Data and Technology Management team supports the organization’s computing needs and IT initiatives. The Electronic Health Records (EHR) Support Analysts role supports users with ongoing implementation, configuration, utilization, and optimization of the Epic application, aligned with our Franciscan values. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide daily support to Epic applications users through troubleshooting, coaching, and consulting. Offer direct support to clinical, operations, billing, and patient care teams to facilitate adoption and optimal use of the Epic application in the clinic. Own user security including user security management, remote access, password resets, and onboarding new team members, including credential creation. (for IT applications associated with roles in Health Center such as Care Link, Sutter Link, Dignity) Identify, assess, and troubleshoot application and equipment issues with end users, ensuring resolution or escalation to the vendor as needed. Maintain member-managed system setup such as preferences, SmartPhrases, and Provider Master Files for the service area. Manage error queues and In Basket pools; collaborate with OCHIN and member oversight or advisory workgroups to optimize system use and implement new Epic features and upgrades. Manage Jira tickets and coordinate with OCHIN on User Acceptance Testing for upcoming features and upgrades; communicate changes to internal staff. Monitor error work queues and assist end-users in clearing their folders; review system notifications. Update, add, remove, or troubleshoot workstation and printer issues as needed; coordinate destination map updates as required. Coordinate and provide training to new clinic staff and providers, including competency training for existing users. Collaborate with clinic leadership to identify opportunities for efficiencies in clinic operations and improved health outcomes. Complete reports and other paperwork neatly and thoroughly; enter data electronically as required and retrieve data/reports from the database as requested. Understand and follow the organization’s programs, policies, and procedures. Participate in training and development opportunities to apply innovative approaches to daily workflows and guest care. Interdepartmental and Community Relationships

Attend clinic department meetings as Epic expert and OCHIN liaison; collaborate with OCHIN and support teams to translate learnings into documentation and training materials. Attend monthly OCHIN EHR Support Analyst meetings and other workgroups to communicate updates and support ongoing training. Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and the community; demonstrate integrity and empathy in interactions. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Computer Sciences, or Information Technology preferred. Experience with Revenue Cycle and billing is desirable. Experience in an ambulatory clinic serving people experiencing homelessness, poverty, or FQHC facilities is strongly preferred. Minimum two years’ Epic work experience or experience with a similar Electronic Health Record system. Familiarity with Epic EHR; knowledge of Jira, Smart Tools, Haiku/Canto preferred. Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse adult learners; capable of professional boundaries with guests, volunteers, donors, and coworkers.
