Axos Bank is seeking a Sr. Software Developer -.NET to join our software engineering team. This on-site role may be located at our offices in San Diego, CA, Irvine, CA, or Centennial, CO. The target compensation range is $85,000.00 /Yr. - $105,000.00 /Yr., with actual starting pay based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education. Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10% and an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%. These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based on performance goals and targets. This position is on-site and focuses on building the next generation of Axos Bank’s online banking application. The role will involve full-stack AI development, designing interactive web applications with .NET, Java, Angular and/or React, developing web services (REST/SOAP), and integrating with vendor APIs. The goal is to provide a seamless, all-in-one banking experience and a platform that offers a 360 degree view of customers’ financials, including banking, investing/trading, and wealth management/planning. You will lead a team of developers and help migrate the platform to microservices-based containers on AWS. Responsibilities

Designing, developing and maintaining related infrastructure and platform according to client requirements. Advises developers on best methods of software development and code creation. Participating in all phases of the software engineering life cycle and troubleshooting technical problems as needed. Participating in sprint planning to discuss the latest requirements and determine tasks. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate requirements into technical specifications for AI-driven solutions. Deliver scalable, secure, and production-grade AI applications on cloud platforms. Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML and advocate for adoption of new technologies and techniques. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years' experience in full-stack .NET development, designing interactive web applications with Angular and/or React, developing web services (REST/SOAP), and integrating with vendor APIs. Experience working with geographically dispersed teams. Proficiency with .NET framework, C#, Java, JavaScript, MVC, Angular 10, TypeScript, jQuery, SQL Server, Cursor, Swagger Docs. Proven ability to design and implement responsive SPAs. Strong understanding of Agile methodology/concepts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Strong work ethic with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the financial services or banking industry. Cloud-native AI services (e.g., Azure AI Foundry or Google Vertex AI). AI/LLM-powered applications, developer tools, or observability platforms (e.g. Langchain framework). A proactive, get-stuff-done attitude with ability to ship fast and iterate based on user feedback. Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Axos Employee Benefits May Include
