This role is for the Enterprise Security Architect responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive security frameworks that protect organizational information assets and ensure regulatory compliance. This includes assessing current security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, developing security strategy and roadmaps, and creating security standards and best practices in collaboration with engineering teams and the information security department for application development, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, the Enterprise Security Architect plays a critical role in fostering a culture of security awareness and resilience within the organization. Security Strategy and Architecture: Design an overarching security architecture that aligns with the organization\'s business goals and is adaptable to current and emerging threats. Participate in policy assessment and compliance to ensure regulations and requirements are met. Work with engineering, development, and IT teams to integrate security protocols into system design, application development, and IT infrastructure. Ensure adherence to least privilege, secure coding, and secure system design. Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, ML, blockchain) for potential security applications. Drive security innovation and adopt advanced security tools and technologies. Risk Management and Third-Party Security: Identify, analyze, and prioritize IT security risks. Develop risk mitigation strategies and collaborate with third-party risk management to establish security protocols for data sharing and secure interactions with external partners. Governance, Policy, and Compliance: Develop and advise on data protection, privacy, and security governance policies and standards. Enforce governance frameworks and educate cross-functional teams on security practices and business impact. Security Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Design and implement real-time monitoring systems; stay informed about threats and update measures. Regularly assess and improve security protocols to keep pace with evolving threats. Bank Secrecy Act: Adhere to Ent policies and procedures and to regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. Qualifications
Minimum Formal Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). 5+ years working with security architectures, frameworks, and leading large-scale security initiatives (Required). 10+ years experience in cybersecurity (preferred). 7+ years in security engineering, risk management, or security design (preferred). 3+ years in cloud security, governance, and regulatory compliance (preferred). Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Understanding of security architecture frameworks (e.g., SABSA, NIST, ISO 27001). Security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods. Cloud security best practices across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud. Compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and risk management principles. Security assessment tools and methodologies (e.g., vulnerability scanning, penetration testing). Threat modeling, incident response, and the ability to align security strategies with business objectives. Excellent communication to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to develop and maintain security documentation, policies, standards, and incident response plans. Project management and ability to coordinate security initiatives and meet deadlines. Ability to evaluate and implement new security technologies. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build stakeholder relationships. Mentor junior security team members and stay current with industry trends. Strategic thinking to align security solutions with business objectives; risk assessment and management capabilities. Certifications
Certifications (preferred): Info Sec Professional (preferred) Info Sec Manager (preferred) Environment and physical requirements
