Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter (or Informatica Cloud / IICS).

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design documents.

Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from various source systems (databases, flat files, APIs, etc.).

Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Work with data architects to ensure alignment with data models and integration architecture.

Troubleshoot and resolve data quality or performance issues in ETL processes.

Conduct unit testing and support system/integration testing.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all ETL jobs and workflows.

Collaborate with BI, analytics, and database teams to support business reporting needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3-7 years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter (or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).

Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema).

Experience in performance tuning and debugging of Informatica mappings and sessions.

Familiarity with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of Informatica Cloud (IICS), Data Quality (IDQ), or MDM.

Exposure to Python, Unix scripting, or API-based integrations.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control (Git).
