Director, Diversity & Inclusion role at Sony Pictures Entertainment reporting to Crunchyroll. This role is a significant contributor to the People Experience (PX) department and helps drive Crunchyroll’s global inclusion strategy through enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives and leadership of the Employee Resource Group (ERG) Program. Under the direction of the Director, D&I Corporate Programming, this role will develop and deliver global D&I messaging and communications and strategically engage stakeholders to influence and advise on relevant issues. Responsibilities
Direct oversight and implementation of Crunchyroll’s global D&I strategy. Manage interactions with Crunchyroll’s Employee Resource Groups (ERG), including guidance and development of groups, overseeing new group launches in key regional offices, and providing strategic updates to senior management. Build relationships with external organizations and communities to support D&I initiatives. Oversee D&I partnerships, sponsorships and event opportunities at Crunchyroll and externally. Partner with Learning & Development to integrate inclusion and cultural competence into learning sessions at all organizational levels. Ensure programs are scalable, sustainable, and tailored to the organization’s needs. Establish and track KPIs to measure D&I program effectiveness and provide regular leadership reports. Use data to identify gaps and opportunities and adjust strategies for continuous improvement. Collaborate with Corporate Communications and PX Strategy Team to market Crunchyroll’s diversity brand internally and externally. Assist with drafting and delivering internal D&I communications. Partner with PX and other business units to develop initiatives identifying and attracting internal talent to increase participation in D&I initiatives/activities. Collaborate with other departments on matters related to supplier diversity, employee relations, corporate communications, learning and development, and talent acquisition. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
8+ years of experience in D&I or a related field. Proven ability to create and manage programs. 1-2 years of international business exposure. Knowledge of research methodology including design, implementation and analysis; ability to report findings and develop recommendations. Strong quantitative skills; ability to design and conduct research on diversity and inclusion topics. Experience working with domestic and international employee groups. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strategic partner with a track record of building strong partnerships with staffing managers, executives, and operating units. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent project management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to proactively share perspectives, challenge assumptions, and drive matters to closure. Strong creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and business acumen. Ability to travel nationally and internationally. Education
BA/BS in Human Resources or a directly relevant field. Master’s level education preferred. Compensation
The anticipated base salary for this position is $163,000 to $204,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on factors including qualifications, years of experience, education, certifications, and location. EEO Statement
