Overview Our firm is dedicated to the practice of public law and the financing of public infrastructure in the State of Texas.
This position will report to the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and will be a member of the firm’s Operations Leadership Team.
Note: All candidates must have legal operations project management experience, working directly for a law firm, or within the legal department of a corporation.
Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage operational or practice-related projects from planning to execution and closure, including defining objectives and criteria, establishing budgets, seeking necessary approvals, creating project timelines, tracking progress, and memorializing key project points in writing as appropriate.
Analyze existing firm operations and practice workflows, and recommend and implement new, streamlined processes and workflows to improve efficiency and enhance productivity.
Recommend allocation of firm’s resources as appropriate to accomplish goals
Working with the firm’s Technology leads, identify, research, recommend and assist in implementing legal technology solutions, such as AI platforms and a business dashboard, to optimize operations.
Liaise between attorneys, support staff, other departments, and external vendors as appropriate on approved projects to gather requirements, gain support, push progress, and achieve project objectives.
Assess data collection capabilities of existing firm software to provide insights for strategic planning and identify areas for improvement; and recommend enhanced applications or software to improve data gathering and collection.
Support Partnership and COO in documenting, tracking, and reporting on key projects.
Prepare reports as necessary for analysis and to comply with internal and external reporting requirements, including monthly Partners meeting reports
Initiate and analyze areas of potential financial, policy or process improvements
Special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
5-7+ years managing complex legal projects in law firm setting
Working familiarity with project management software and advanced proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook and similar business software
Familiarity with data & reporting tools
Experience in developing functional dashboard and scorecard reports
Exceptional technology skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
