Overview
TRC Advanced Energy (TRC), a nationally known consultancy, is seeking a Project Manager to serve as the Deputy Program Manager for a large-scale low income, multifamily energy efficiency and decarbonization program in California. TRC seeks an innovative leader with proven success managing projects and/or operations with excellent communication skills and business acumen.
Responsibilities
Support the Program Manager in the effective execution of program activities, including goal tracking and issue resolution.
Assist with adherence to contract budgets and schedules, and contribute to program reporting and invoicing.
Help to improve program policies and procedures, maintain the program’s CRM database, coordinate responses to client data requests, assist with resource planning, and support the development of program deliverables.
Engage with clients, partners, vendors, property owners, commercial developers/builders, and other stakeholders.
Demonstrate a passion for sustainable energy solutions and bridging gaps between low-income customers/disadvantaged communities and utility programs.
Be a member of the program and client management team; manage multiple tasks and workload across program verticals with potential future supervisory responsibilities.
Previous experience with utility or decarbonization programs and a strong operations or project management background is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3+ years of relevant experience.
Experience managing large-scale programs, budgets, and teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to build/maintain relationships with clients, partners, customers and staff.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team and customers; ability to coordinate, schedule and conduct team meetings professionally and efficiently.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong time management and organizational skills; experience with program intake, pipeline management, and CRM databases.
Technical proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to conduct computer-based research.
Eligible to work in the United States and ability to travel within California.
This position is based in one of TRC’s California offices (Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Oakland, or Rancho Cordova/Sacramento). Staff are encouraged to collaborate in-office when appropriate.

Compensation Base pay range: $102,502.00/yr - $140,005.00/yr.
