Location Brooklyn Center
is actively hiring a Maintenance Technician (Handyman) to work in our Skilled Nursing Facility.
Responsibilities
Assist with regular facility & equipment inspections for safety, upkeep, and appearance.
Respond to maintenance requests by staff and residents.
Repair and maintain vacated rooms in a timely manner.
Be available for emergency troubleshooting and repairs of equipment.
Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry & general maintenance.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative.
Ability to multitask, stay on task, and maintain focus in stressful situations.
Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team member.
Driver's License preferred.
On call every other weekend is required.
