Litigation Associate Attorney (3+ years)
We are a full-service law firm serving clients throughout New Mexico and the Southwest region of the country since 1993. We have a collaborative culture and maintain an innovative team approach to solving our client's complex legal issues. We are seeking a litigation paralegal with New Mexico civil litigation experience to support the firm's busy litigation practice. Candidates should have excellent MS Office skills, the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, and strong attention to detail.
Job Duties
Obtain, review and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records, or any other relevant documents and records;
Prepare medical record summaries;
Prepare deposition summaries;
Manage calendar and deadlines using firm litigation case management software;
Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence;
Assist with drafting and responding to discovery, as needed;
Well-developed writing and research skills;
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook;
Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy;
Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team;
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines;
Perform administrative tasks, as needed;
ABA Paralegal Certificate, preferred;
Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferred.
