This role is for a technical lead for mobile team working on both iOS and Android. Technical Skills
The Expertise You Should have: Deep knowledge on one of the two major platforms – iOS or Android and good knowledge on the other 7+ years of professional experience developing iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, UIKit, and XCode in an agile environment Experience working with different architecture including MVVM, Clean, and VIPER Experience with iOS Framework development including distribution and dependency management using Swift Package Manager and/or Cocoapods Knowledge of standard processes relating to networking, concurrency, performance, memory management and security in context of mobile apps Good understanding of Android Jetpack as well as open-source libraries like Retrofit, Kotlin to build modern, stable, resilient, and future-ready apps. Experience with Coroutines and Jetpack Compose is a plus Good understanding of mobile accessibility features and experience building accessible experiences across mobile apps Experienced using XCTest and XCUITest with a focus on DevOps Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and static-code analyzers to deliver high-quality apps continuously and autonomously Participated in the release of an app to the Apple App Store, understanding of app development process from inception to launch using automated tooling like Jenkins, XCode toolchain. Knowledge on releasing Android apps to Google Play will be a plus Good understanding of observability and proactive monitoring of applications in production Experience working in a team of iOS/Android developers participating in code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming Leadership Skills
Demonstrable experience mentoring, guiding and coaching other iOS/Android developers in a collective and team-based organization, taking the team along to become more performant Excellent communication and influential skills to facilitate collaboration within the team and with other teams Ability to brainstorm and effectively discuss technology ideas and issues What You Will Be Doing
Leading the team of iOS and Android developers in delivering high-quality software with a focus on mobile engineering standards and quality Partner with product, architect, UXD to create experience roadmaps aimed at building robust and stable apps Staying ahead of the curve by aligning architecture, user experience, and security Providing mobile thought leadership to advance mobile outcomes and facilitate a mobile-first approach Your knowledge of the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies used in creating performant, resilient, and robust iOS apps Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and Architects Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutions Lead multiple, concurrent priorities in a fast-paced, time critical environment Certifications
