Database Analyst I - looking for 3-5 years' experience with ETL/Python
FIS connects consumers to their money through leading-edge payments solutions. Our Data Integration team supports business objectives by administering Python-based ETL tools in Linux to input/output data into databases and by providing database-related support for releases. Overview
This position is a member of the Data Integration team. You will work with other data analyst team members to interact with various areas of the organization to support business objectives. This role will provide support for database-related items and work with data development members to help identify solutions and support for releases involving the databases. Responsibilities
Create CREQ billable tickets and design requirements and statements of work for billable client work Convert core to core data changes Design and maintain Python ETL models Follow standards to import and export data with our clients Build documentation and data dictionaries for the data systems Work closely with other Python developers to integrate the database with other applications Maintain existing clients with day-to-day operational support and development Implement/install new customers, and onboard them with project managers and training staff Discuss client needs or issues and resolve them using expert tools and skills Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience 4+ years of database development experience Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of database utilities on multiple hardware/software platforms using multiple database engines Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles Ability to create and support technical environments Python PostgreSQL Linux Windows Server Network drives Strong understanding of data transformations Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Willingness to share relevant technical knowledge with others Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas What You Will Need
