Sr. Associate, Business Analytics and Operations, Boston, MA. Join Santander Bank, N.A. in a strategic analytics/operations role focused on data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and operational efficiency across Santander holdings USA. What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

Conduct information gathering, strategic research, organization and business process analytics to support business cases for change management, new business growth and existing business maintenance. Navigate existing data sources, construct insights and improve data quality across multiple business units and/or internal/external sources. Define and develop analytical approaches to complex issues; standardize and operationalize findings and explain how data-driven decision making will impact teams, functions or business units. Lead system change processes from requirements through implementation, provide follow-on support, incorporate feedback, and test against forecasted change strategies. Drive communication across internal stakeholders to structure a win-win culture; support other business units’ resource requests as needed. Understand risk mitigation strategies across diverse groups and establish new ones when deploying new workflows in matrixed, international environments. Develop consultative partnerships with internal teams and leaders to understand strategic objectives, KPIs and reporting requirements. Arrange meetings with key stakeholders, build agendas aligned with strategic outcomes of the organization and business units. Communicate with internal teams to stay informed about operations and be familiar with company practices related to metrics, performance indicators, and reporting protocols. Lead strategic initiatives and special projects of importance for the function or business unit; act as a technical leader for ad-hoc reporting or project needs. Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure analytical and reporting needs are aligned with business and operating results; provide guidance to less experienced staff. Assign work, monitor quality and completion of projects; contribute to achievement of function or business unit objectives. Support data-driven decision-making by team, function or business unit leaders. What You Bring (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; required. 9+ years of relevant experience in business planning, project and financial analysis; required. 9+ years of experience with analytics, process recommendations, and complaint standards (monitoring and evaluating); required. Advanced knowledge of systems coordination, process/product reviews, and development of management information requirements for related functions. Ability to consult, build and maintain solid working relationships inside and outside the department; ability to report priorities/metrics to senior management. Ability to manage multiple small to medium projects simultaneously; strong data analysis and presentation capabilities. Experience working in a matrix environment and building partnerships across all levels; advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures and risk management; strong attention to detail. Certifications

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the range is based on a 40-hour work week. Compensation varies by skills, experience, training, licensure and location.
