$65.00/hr - $65.00/hr Responsibilities
Lead the migration of workloads to Amazon EKS and architect multi-region Kubernetes clusters Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation Collaborate with development teams to integrate Confluent Kafka and support Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) patterns Drive cloud cost optimization strategies across environments Evaluate and implement emerging technologies including Generative AI and Agentic coding to enhance platform capabilities Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers Requirements
Proven experience with Kubernetes in production environments Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services, especially EKS Experience with Confluent Kafka and event-driven systems Proficiency in Terraform and/or CloudFormation Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices Demonstrated success in cost optimization and resource efficiency Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)
CKA - Certified Kubernetes Administrator CKAD - Certified Kubernetes Application Developer AWS Professional Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.) Bonus Skills
Experience with Generative AI tools and frameworks Familiarity with Agentic coding concepts and applications Job details
