Base pay range: $115,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Energy Engineer who thrives in high-stakes environments and knows how to balance technical depth with real-world impact. This role is a hybrid of energy engineering and on-site energy management, focused on optimizing performance across mission critical facilities.
What You’ll Do
Lead on-site energy assessments and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and improve system performance.
Collaborate with facility teams to monitor and manage HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in real time.
Design and execute energy conservation measures (ECMs) tailored to mission critical environments.
Analyze building automation systems (BAS) and energy data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities.
Support commissioning and retro-commissioning efforts for new and existing systems.
Ensure compliance with energy codes, sustainability goals, and operational standards.
Act as a technical advisor during facility upgrades, expansions, and emergency response planning.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering.
3+ years of experience in energy engineering.
Strong understanding of building systems, energy modeling, and performance analytics.
Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, LEED, and other sustainability frameworks.
Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.
Certifications like CEM, PE, or LEED AP are a plus.
