Manager, Data Science - Core Data at Figma. The Core Data Science team works to uplevel Figma’s use of data, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and finance to identify ways to implement and democratize statistical methods, build data frameworks, and incorporate data within Figma’s product. This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you’ll do at Figma
Lead, support, and grow a team of data scientists with varied strengths and expertise focused on internal tooling, machine learning enablement, and support for the Infrastructure organization Guide development of new and sophisticated applications of data Champion data quality, accessibility, and the democratization of data across the company Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a positive work environment in partnership with other leaders in the organization Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Sales, Marketing, or Finance to drive impact Qualifications
3+ years of experience managing and leading high-output data science teams 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a related field Strong foundation in statistical methods, experimentation, and/or forecasting Technical curiosity and willingness to learn and grow with your team A desire to build an inclusive and diverse culture Experience scaling teams in high-growth environments Nice-to-have
Experience with ML or Security Data Science Pay and Benefits
