We are hiring for a strategic Sr Regional HR Manager for a national hospitality and travel company. Reporting into the Regional HR Director, you will support the West Coast region in managing day to day HR strategy for field employees across Customer Service, Drivers, Operations, Logistics, and more. We are hiring two Sr Managers that can sit in Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Denver Compensation - 130-160k Leadership and Talent Development Partner in the overall leadership development process and talent assessment discussions, strategies and actions in support of talent development of Regional Leaders at all levels. Partner in region specific people strategy to include but not limited to Manager Training (MT) program. Promote and champion consistent utilization of an effective on-boarding process for all new General Managers, Branch, and Regional team members within the region. Facilitate a wide range of training programs within the region including human resource management and leadership, leadership and organizational development programs and workshops, Federal and State/Province required training and compliance training. Partner with Regional Leadership in analyzing the impact of the HR Metrics as they support business performance results and provide consultative correction for future positive business outcomes. Facilitate discussions and suggest calculated risks for increasing the effectiveness of change to support business objectives. Challenge organizational norms and accepted thinking to improve effectiveness. Translate strategy into specific actionable activities that demonstrate favorable impact and achieve desired results. Develop and use systematic tools to organize and track information. Recruitment Partner with General Managers and Talent Acquisition to select, assess, and develop Branch leadership across assigned regions and build a strong talent pipeline for effective succession planning Support the recruitment strategies through training leaders on Targeted Selection Interview philosophy and other effective recruitment tools and resources, including new community developments and acquisitions, job fairs, and other recruitment events. Provide leadership, direction, and support for traditional and innovative recruitment efforts throughout the region. Employee Relations Partner with Regional Leadership in focus group sessions in support of team member engagement and driving behaviors that support business goals. Promote and conduct thorough investigations pertaining to team member relations matters, allegations and charges. Facilitate follow up impact plans and actions by identifying behavioral trends through the Ethics Point system and Team Member Experience survey. Provide HR assessments and expertise to the Regional Leaders and Executive Directors on team member related issues ranging from selection and hiring to discipline and terminations. Champion open communications within the region. Treat all people fairly with dignity and respect and serve as a role model. Compliance & Legal Communicate effectively and oversee Federal, State/Province, and local laws and Company policies to ensure compliance and support as it pertains to the communities and Area and Regional leaders. Lead HR policies, practices, and systems for application and implementation, fairly and consistently in all communities. Partner in support of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and similar legal notices, responses, resolution and closures. Facilitate human resources and related training effectively. Research, plan, organize, and conduct training and workshops for supervisory, and front line teams based on identified training needs. Provide transfer of knowledge of labor laws, best practices, and follow up for compliance regulations when needed. Partner with Regional Leaders and Risk Management Leaders in preventing and resolving workers compensation concerns. Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that company standards are always met.
