Senior Software Consultant, QA (REMOTE - US)

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking to hire a Senior Software Consultant QA. This position involves functional testing, test plans automation, verification and validation of Hexagon Operational Digital Twin product. Candidates considered for employment must be well-rounded, self-motivated, and team players and must be able to adapt quickly by learning methodologies and technologies through formal and ad-hoc training as well as on-the-job training. The candidate will work in a scrum team collaborating with teams based in the US and other countries, within a multi-tenant, cloud-only application framework based on the latest technologies. This role will perform highly complex workflows testing critical to organizational goals with minimum supervision and with extensive latitude for independent judgment. The focus is on functional, performance and automation testing of ODT functions and its integration with other ALI products in multi-tenant SaaS environments. Responsibilities

Serve as a recognized subject matter expert in testing scope, workflows, automation, scripting, manual testing and domain knowledge. Analyze and test software to ensure that products meet design specifications. Create and execute automated and manual procedures and test scenarios based on software architecture. Define regression and new feature testing and relevant metrics. Take ownership in filing and tracking defects found during testing while working with development to implement fixes. Actively participate in the entire software development life cycle, including developing quality standards through software development stages and testing for reliability and data accuracy. Familiar with latest AI technology for efficient manual test creation and automation. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of peers, guiding automation focus and ensuring successful product delivery. Create, manage, and accurately document release testing scopes, release plans, test cases, processes, and test outcomes. Manage automation and regression testing backlogs and prioritize the focus. Recommend and implement changes and enhancements to improve product quality, procedures, and software functionality. Apply independent judgment and automation/software principles to complete assignments and resolve complex issues. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish strategic goals effectively. Use strong analytical skills to solve complex problems in a timely manner while adapting to changing priorities. May conduct technical presentations and participate in technical workshops and training. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or related areas, with at least 6 years of direct experience in software automation and functional testing. Familiar with Microsoft services testing automation; adopt Artificial Intelligence for automation and functional testing. Experience with AI functional testing is a big plus. Working knowledge of agile software development methodology (scrum). Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps and Microsoft Test Manager. Working knowledge of WebDrive IO, JavaScript, web technologies, TFS, Visual Studio a plus. Working knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems and relational databases (ORACLE, MSSQL Server) a plus. Strong interpersonal, problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
