Position summary and responsibilities describe providing high-level technical expertise in property and sales/use tax reporting, leading coordination of team efforts, identifying tax issues, performing research, and implementing changes in tax statutes, regulations, and rules to promote accurate and timely reporting through data analytics and technology resources. Responsibilities

Property and Sales/Use Tax Compliance - Complete and/or review accurate and timely filings of property and sales/use tax, analyze data used in filings, support corporate systems for statutory and analytical reporting, demonstrate knowledge of state and local tax laws, and coordinate tax payments to minimize company cash requirements. Accounting and Forecasting - Participate in computing, recording, and documenting property and sales/use tax accruals to ensure GAAP compliance, regulatory, and Sarbanes-Oxley provisions; coordinate team efforts related to accounting, forecasting, and internal or external reporting. Team Leadership - Direct day-to-day activities of the tax analysts and senior analysts in coordinating the Property and Sales/Use Tax Reporting team. Property and Sales/Use Tax Defense - Represent the company to tax authorities, provide timely responses to information requests, coordinate audits, facilitate issue resolution to minimize tax payable, and perform in-depth transactional research to evaluate positions and determine strategies. Property and Sales/Use Tax Strategy - Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and communicate them effectively; monitor initiatives and trends; assist in developing strategies and plans; maintain contacts inside and outside the company to seek tax minimization opportunities. Implement Technical Amendments and Conduct Transaction Research - Implement tax statutes, regulations, and rules; perform research on existing transactions to confirm taxability decisions. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, MIS, data science, or related discipline. At least 7 years of experience in property tax and/or sales/use tax. Note: Master’s degree or certifications (CPA, CMA, CFA, etc.) or related background may be considered to meet the minimum. Audit and tax systems experience preferred. Demonstrated excellence in project management, communication, and team leadership. Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated starting base pay is: $82,800.00 to $117,600.00 per year. This position is eligible for benefits including annual incentive program, medical/pharmacy, dental, vision, life insurance, and multiple health and dependent care accounts.
