$100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Location

Work Location: Cavalier SFB (Cavalier, ND) Duties/Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning to execution and closeout. Manage and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors; serve as primary contact for clients and stakeholders; communicate project progress, issues, and resolutions. Review contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets specifications and standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues. Review and analyze contractor plans and submittals for approval, including progress schedules, environmental, safety and quality control programs, certifications and shop drawings. Prepare correspondence regarding contractor performance, RFIs, REAs and other technical issues. Assist with hosting site visits and presentations to owner’s representatives. Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to team members; oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance; resolve disputes related to contracts. Monitor scheduled progress of construction activities; advise project team of potential slippage or delay. Prepare partial and final payment estimates, including quantity measurements, materials on hand, and percentage complete of lump-sum items. Produce monthly project reports showing status and updates for customers. Participate in contract modification processes; assist in scopes of work for RFPs, government estimates, reviews of contractor proposals, and contract modification documentation. Attend and participate in meetings with customers and contractors. Performs other duties as assigned. Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field Minimum 10 years Construction Project Management experience PMP certification preferred Experience with Federal Construction projects, particularly USACE, preferred Strong Project Management skills with ability to lead and motivate teams Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Strong technical competencies to create presentation materials and deliver presentations electronically Benefits
