The nuKudo Specialist Training Program (NSTP) is a full-time, W-2 employment opportunity designed to launch your career in cybersecurity. From day one, you are hired as a paid employee of nuKudo, where your job is to train, develop, and prepare for placement in a long-term, high-impact role in the cybersecurity field. Throughout the program and even after your placement with one of our partner organizations, you will remain an employee of nuKudo, with ongoing support, continued upskilling, and long-term professional growth opportunities. Our office is based in San Antonio, TX, and training is conducted in person. nuKudo makes a significant investment in each individual, ensuring that only the most driven and capable candidates are chosen. Every assessment is carefully reviewed, and each candidate is thoroughly evaluated before progressing to the next stage. The application assessment consists of: Initial Application Form Online Challenge Logical Aptitude Assessment Analytical Aptitude Assessment Personality Assessment In-Person Interviews There are 4 stages within the nuKudo Training Program: In-Office Training Certifications & Skills Development Special Projects and Skills Development Placement Key Responsibilities: Fulfill duties as a full-time cybersecurity professional in training Complete intensive, hands-on instruction led by industry experts Earn leading certifications (e.g., GCIH and OSCP) and build real-world technical skills Apply training to advanced simulations and team-based projects Transition into a cybersecurity role with one of our partner organizations, embedded as a nuKudo employee Continue upskilling through structured, biannual professional development Why Join nuKudo? As a Cybersecurity Specialist in the nuKudo Specialist Training Program (NSTP), your primary responsibility is to train, learn, and develop into a highly skilled cybersecurity professional while being employed as a W-2 employee of nuKudo. You’ll start with in-person training in San Antonio, TX, where you’ll gain hands-on instruction, earn top cybersecurity certifications, and work on real-world projects. After completing the structured training stages, you’ll be placed into a cybersecurity role with one of nuKudo’s partner organizations, while remaining a nuKudo employee. This program is designed for highly motivated individuals who want to launch a long-term career in cybersecurity, even if they have no prior IT or cybersecurity experience. nuKudo invests heavily in your growth, offering ongoing professional development, structured upskilling, and career advancement opportunities beyond the initial placement.
